Abstract

Il volume offre una panoramica aggiornata sulle tecniche per la didattica della seconda lingua, con esempi pratici relativi alle 50 ritenute più significative, presentate in un quadro sinottico fornito in appendice. Dopo una rassegna degli approcci e dei metodi che si sono avvicendati dal secolo scorso per facilitare l'apprendimento di una lingua non materna, il libro si concentra sulle tecniche didattiche in relazione alle competenze generali e linguistico-comunicative descritte nel Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR 2001 e CEFR Companion 2018), anche in contesti di insegnamento integrato lingua-contenuto (CLIL) e in relazione alla didattica ludica. Gli esempi, tratti da manuali di italiano per stranieri, sono ampiamente illustrati nei due capitoli conclusivi, riferiti ai modelli di gestione della classe e alle fasi di lavoro.

Abstract

This book presents the most significant contributions of the fifth edition of the Study Days on didactic materials (foreign), held on 1st June 2007 at the University of Florence, and focused on the issue of "autonomous learning". The authors come from different institutional ambits and teach a variety of languages, while they share an interest in seeking modes and means for fostering the enhanced independence of the learner in identifying and attaining his or her individual objectives in the chosen language. The contributions range from aspects relating to the development of new styles of learning to those connected with technological innovation or the deficiencies of the same, leading to a meditation on the teacher/learner relationship in a variety of educational ambits.

Abstract

This book is the first initiative of its kind aimed at underscoring the importance of the C-ORAL-ROM project, and proposing new methods of utilisation and study of the corpora comprised within it, especially in the framework of language teaching. The objective of the project is that of creating a corpus of the spontaneous spoken language for the principal Romance languages: French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. The publication includes both written and audio texts, considered as the most appropriate manner of utilising and studying the oral corpora. The texts of the authors hosted in the volume dwell on the various aspects that enable C-ORAL-ROM to be used as a container of information, as a teaching instrument and also as a means of analysing the formal, structural and prosodic characteristics of the texts. The last part of the book presents a teaching unit that proposes a direct application to the teaching of the oral corpora.
