- 08/07/2019: the catalogue of PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts was added to UniCat (14.120 records)

integrated into UniCat:

- Catalogus van Belgische Kranten Abraham
The databases were provided by Vlaamse Erfgoedbibliotheek (Flanders Heritage Library)
- 23/12/2013: UniCat was newly rebuilt from scratch using a fresh complete dataset from all partners.
- 13/07/2013 : content originating from KCE - Belgian Health Care Knowledge Center was added to UniCat.
- 21/06/2012 : CaGeWeb (Catalogus Gentse Wetenschappelijke Bibliothekene) data were added to UniCat
- 20/04/2012: UniCat was added as a target to Virtuelle Fachbibliothek (ViFa) Benelux online. ViFa Benelux is a new portal for studies with regard to Dutch language and literature, including Afrikaans and Frisian and with regard to the Benelux countries. ViFa is developped by the university libraries of Münster and Cologne.
- 21/03/2012 : Hogeschool Gent (HOGent) data were added to UniCat
- 30/01/2012: 6.6 millions small size cover images have been added into UniCat. Images originate from http://openlibrary.org/
- 12/01/2012: UniCat has got it's export citation into RIS format
function. eUsers can now export UniCat records to endNote or Reference Manager. A third option is to export to RefWorks web based application.
- 20/08/2011: UniCat has now got it's SRU server. It can be found at: http://www.unicat.be/sru.
