Several in-depth studies have verified the positive impact of lean techniques on performance indicators in production environments. Studies performed on warehouse environments have partially confirmed this. This thesis helped to close the gap between the disparities in the level of evidence mentioned above. A study was conducted that included 16 warehouses in an observation group and 56 warehouses in a control group. These significant results help close the gap in the evidence.

The aim of this project is to improve the effectiveness of touchpoints during marketing campaigns. Two main themes have been identified as issues needing to be addressed in order to improve the performance of touchpoints. On the one hand, the webshop has a low conversion and retention rate. On the other hand, marketing campaign reporting is not optimal and does not allow the marketing team to adapt campaigns in real time and draw clear conclusions once they are completed. In order to improve the conversion and retention of the webshop, it was decided to conduct a qualitative and quantitative study to identify which barriers prevent operators from making a greater proportion of their purchases through this channel. Once these barriers had been identified, a benchmark was carried out to find out what solutions already exist on the market. Recommendations were then drafted on the basis of the data extracted from the survey and additional sources. To obtain a clearer reporting of marketing campaigns, it was decided to create an interactive dashboard. The purpose of this dashboard is to display key data from each touchpoint. The dashboard was created via Google Data Studio and includes key figures in four different sections: "Key figures" which presents the overall campaign figures, "Touchpoints performance" which presents the details of each touchpoint, "Engagement" which describes how operators have interacted with the content of the campaigns and lastly "Audience information" which presents the available information on the operators reached. Recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the webshop include the benefits offered by the webshop, its speed, the user experience, communication about the existence and benefits of this channel. As for the dashboard, the recommendations are oriented towards data collection, in order to make it as easy as possible for the marketing department to use

There are many car parts initially manufactured by Injection Moulding (IM) that are nowadays impossible to produce. The tools are either worn or broken due to poor maintenance. The present work studies the utilisation of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies to reproduce the tooling necessary for the production of these service parts, for low production volumes.

John Cockerill is a technology and engineering company renowned in the Liège region and aspires to be more and more international. Like any technology enterprise, to remain competitive and offer the best services to its customers, the Group must innovate. Nevertheless, not all these innovations are specifically listed. Innovation remains a priority strategy for most firms, which see it as a powerful engine of growth. Indeed, innovation will enable the company to maintain its market share and anticipate problems by offering different and innovative solutions. However, too many organizations are struggling to measure the real performance of their innovation portfolio and John Cockerill is currently experiencing some difficulties in measuring this innovation. It is for this reason that I have designed a dashboard with key performance indicators based on innovation. I followed a methodology in 4 main phases: identification, design, implementation and permanent monitoring. These phases are themselves subdivided into different stages. The indicators were chosen according to the objectives pursued by the Group as part of its innovation strategy. These indicators should serve as an aid to managing the Group's performance. John Cockerill decision-makers will also use the dashboard as a reference for making or supporting decisions. Once the dashboard was designed, I made a proposal to integrate and deploy this tool across the company.

Over the last decade Lean and Six Sigma methods and tools have helped organizations improve to historic productivity levels with the data driven, systematic elimination of waste, and improvement of flow. Today many organizations have enjoyed the benefits of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and are looking more to sustain the gains, and aggressively drive a systematic and ongoing approach to improvement and problem solving. The concept of diminishing returns applies here in the early stages when organizations were able to find "low-hanging fruit" and to quickly make significant improvements. Now the easy work is done, and organizations need a simple yet systematic approach to continuing their continuous improvement efforts. The term scoreboards and dashboards are quite common, and many organizations have them. However, the author's observations are that there are many problems common to most organization dashboards.

The 21st century brings an important transition in financing for businesses and in particular for start-ups. Raising funds is becoming an increasingly common way to accelerate the growth of one's business. All over Europe, numerous fund-raising support structures are emerging to help companies successfully open their capital. Aware of the stakes involved, the Sowalfin Group, partner of Walloon SMEs, has been licensed to operate the EuroQuity platform since 2015. This free digital service, initially developed by Bpifrance, supports the economic development of Wallonia by enabling project owners and companies to strengthen their equity capital by facilitating access to capital investors. The amounts thus raised will contribute to accelerating the growth of companies while stimulating job creation in the Walloon landscape. It is in this context that the project: "Definition and implementation of the development strategy of the Euroquity platform in the revised context of the missions entrusted to the Sowalfin Group" presented in this thesis was born. This involves the pursuit of four main lines of action. In response to the new missions that the Sowalfin Group is pursuing following the takeover of the orientation, awareness and support activities of the AEI (Agency for Entreprise and Innovation), its structure has been thoroughly reorganised. The preparation of a common analysis note for all financial departments now facilitates the exchange of information and synergy between the group's various non-financial and financial services, including EuroQuity. Secondly, numerous missions to support users of the platform have been carried out in order to boost the platform's notoriety and make it known to the general public. Thirdly, a programme to raise awareness of the opening of capital has been built in order to provide Walloon entrepreneurs with the best possible information on the fund-raising process. This programme will make it possible to overcome the fears of entrepreneurs generated by the complexity and specificity of the vocabulary related to this process. Recently, a dashboard made up of KPIs has been set up. It will enable the EuroQuity service to measure the impact of its action and to situate whether the objectives set will be met.

Context: The thesis addresses the growing importance of sustainability in supply chain management, particularly within the agri-food sector, which faces significant challenges such as resource dependency, environmental impact, and social equity. The research emphasizes the complexity of balancing the three dimensions of the Triple Bottom Line (economic, environmental, and social) while ensuring operational viability. A critical focus is on the use of KPIs to measure and enhance sustainability within the agri-food supply chains of the Greater Region (France, Belgium, Luxembourg), a context complicated by diverse regulatory frameworks and operational disparities. While existing literature explores theoretical models for sustainable performance measurement tools, gaps remain in their practical implementation, particularly in cross-border contexts. Objectives: This study aims to bridge the gap in understanding how KPIs are applied in the agri-food supply chain to measure and enhance sustainability performance. The research focuses on identifying the practices and challenges associated with KPI implementation among stakeholders, including producers, intermediaries, and processors. By providing actionable insights and practical recommendations, the study seeks to improve the measurement and management of sustainable supply chain performance within the unique context of the Greater Region. Methodology: This study employed an abductive qualitative approach, integrating theoretical insights with data from semi-structured interviews. Eight stakeholders across the agri-food supply chain in the Greater Region were selected to provide a holistic view of sustainability practices. Online interviews, conducted in French for accessibility, were analyzed using thematic analysis to uncover key themes and challenges related to sustainable performance measurement tools and their practical application in the industry. Findings: This study demonstrates the varying levels of implementation and effectiveness of KPIs in balancing the economic, environmental, and social dimensions of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) within the agri-food sector. Economic KPIs, such as energy cost per unit and ROSI, were instrumental in linking sustainability practices with financial performance, though their strategic use was more prevalent in larger organizations. Environmental KPIs, including emissions tracking and water recycling, showed significant progress in addressing direct impacts but lacked comprehensive integration of lifecycle considerations, such as Scope 3 emissions. The social dimension remains underdeveloped, with practices like community engagement and ethical sourcing often informal and poorly measured. These findings reflect the challenges stakeholders face in harmonizing the TBL dimensions, highlighting both advancements and gaps in current practices that inform pathways for achieving a better balance across sustainability objectives. Word Count: 22679. Key words: Supply chain Management, Sustainable Practices , Agrifood industry , Sustainable Performance , Performance Measurement, KPI, Triple Bottom Line.
