PROBLEMATIQUE : l’arrêt cardiaque représente un enjeu de Santé publique majeur. En milieu hospitalier, l’incidence des arrêts cardio-respiratoires est d’un à cinq pour 1000 patients par an et est associé à un faible taux de survie. Ces répercussions peuvent être dévastatrices. Des organismes scientifiques tels que l’European Resuscitation Council (ERC) établissent des recommandations internationales de réanimation cardio-pulmonaire (RCP). Le pronostic vital et la survie des patients victimes d’arrêts cardiaques augmentent lorsqu’il y a un respect strict de ces procédures standardisées. Pourtant, de grandes disparités sont observées dans la réalité. Une aide cognitive peut aider à faire face à cette problématique. 
OBJECTIF : déterminer si une aide cognitive, sous forme d’une application mobile, influence le respect des recommandations de l’ERC lors d’une RCP avancée de l’adulte en simulation.
MATERIEL ET METHODE : l’étude quantitative prospective randomisée contrôlée monocentrique a été réalisée au centre de simulation médicale de l’Université de Liège afin de comparer le respect des recommandations de l’ERC concernant la RCP avancée de l’adulte au sein de deux groupes de participants certifiés providers ALS (Advanced Life Support) : un groupe bénéficiant de l’application mobile et un groupe n’en bénéficiant pas. 
RESULTATS : 30 participants (chefs de clinique, assistants et infirmiers) ont été recrutés et répartis par randomisation dans les deux groupes : 15 personnes dans chaque. Le pourcentage de réussite de la RCP est significativement (p-valeur = 0.003) plus élevé dans le groupe test (avec application) (91.5 ± 6.2) vis-à-vis du groupe contrôle (80.9 ± 10.6). L’application mobile améliore l’anticipation lors des RCP (p-valeurs significatives). La majorité des participants appartenant au groupe test est globalement satisfaite de l’application ALS, la trouve pertinente et pense qu’elle est utile lors des RCP. Cependant, une formation avant utilisation serait souhaitable. 
CONCLUSION : en simulation, l’instauration de l’aide cognitive, sous forme d’une application mobile, est une matière de développement technologique qui résout partiellement la problématique de départ. ISSUE : cardiac arrest is a major public health issue. In hospital settings, the incidence of cardiorespiratory arrest goes from 1 to 5 per 1000 patients a year and is associated with a very low survival rate. Its impact can be devastating. Scientific organizations such as the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) establish international guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Life prognosis in cardiac arrest patients is improved when these standardized procedures are strictly applied. However, there are wide disparities in the real world. A learning app could help to address this issue. 
AIM : to determine whether cognitive support, and more specifically a learning app, influences the compliance with ERC recommendations during advanced adult CPR in simulation.
MATERIAL AND METHOD : the prospective randomized controlled single-centre quantitative study has been carried out at the medical simulation center of the University of Liège in order to compare the compliance with the ERC guidelines for adult advanced CPR among two groups of certified ALS (Advanced Life Support) providers : one group benefiting from the mobile application and the other not benefiting from it. 
RESULTS : 30 respondents (Heads of Clinic, physician assistants and nurses) have been recruited and randomized into the above-mentioned groups : 15 people in each. The percentage of successful CPR appears to be significantly (p-value = 0.003) higher in the test group (with the application) (91.5 ± 6.2) than in the control group (80.9 ± 10.6). The mobile application improves anticipation during CPR (significant p-values). The majority of participants in the test group are globally satisfied with the ALS application, find it relevant and think that it is useful during CPR. However, training before use is thought to be essential. 
CONCLUSION : the use of a mobile learning application is a technological development that partially solves the initial problem in simulation.
