Les Arts sous l'Occupation retrace le destin, au jour le jour, des artistes, des cinéastes, des écrivains et des dramaturges au coeur des "années noires". Véritable enquête de terrain, ce livre balaye certaines idées reçues autour d'une vérité occultée: face au contrôle des Allemands et aux exigences de Vichy, une jeunesse impatiente, résistante de mille manières, a voulu s'imposer sur la scène artistique.
