Doelstelling: Deze scriptie bevat een corpus van 114 Engelstalige militaire termen. Die termen werden gevonden in 4 verschillende Engelstalige kranten en 1 Engelstalig tijdschrift. Voor elke term werd een vertaling gezocht in 3 verschillende Nederlandstalige kranten. Middelen of methode: De Engelstalige termen werden onderverdeeld in 4 categorieën: Military Jargon, Buzzwords, Euphemisms, Cultural References. Elke term werd ingevoegd in een fiche. Elk fiche bevat de Engelstalige term, de context(en) van die term uit de krantenartikels, een definitie, Eén of meerdere vertalingen of equivalenten uit de Nederlandstalige kranten en de context(en) van die vertaling of een eigen vertaling. Resultaten: Een corpus van 114 Engelstalige termen gevonden in de Engelstalige bronnen, 50 vertalingen of equivalenten gevonden in de Nederlandstalige bronnen en 64 eigen vertalingen, met commentaar
