Abstract

The "MCORE" family of microprocessors is the latest 32-bit integrated circuit from Motorola designed to be a multi-purpose "micro-controller." The processor architecture has been designed for high performance and cost-sensitive embedded control applications with particular emphasis on reduced power consumption. This is the first book on the programming of the new language instruction set using the MCORE chip. Embedded Microcontroller Interfacing for MCORE Systems is the third of a trio of books by G. Jack Lipovski from the University of Texas. The first two books are on assembly language programming for the new Motorola 6812 16-bit microcontroller, and were written to be textbooks and professional references. This book was written at the request of the Motorola design team for the professional users of its new and very successful MCORE chip microcontrollers. Abstract

La sécurité est au centre de l’activité « transport ». Elle représente un véritable défi pour les pouvoirs publics, les organisations internationales et les acteurs du transport. A ce titre, l’ouvrage aborde les nouvelles formes d’atteintes à la sécurité comme la piraterie ou, sur un plan social, le détachement ou la situation particulière de certaines professions notamment en transport maritime. Ces nouveaux défis appellent une réponse des politiques tant sur le plan national, européen qu’international. La phase de contrôle trouve aussi toute sa place dans l’ouvrage. C’est elle qui assure l’efficience des politiques. Mais la sécurité ne présente pas qu’un seul visage. La sécurité est en effet polysémique. C’est pourquoi, l’ouvrage traite de la sécurité financière du transport. Dans ce cadre sont étudiés l’incidence des sûretés, le rôle et la place de l’assureur, la question de l’indemnisation…Une large place est enfin réservée à la sécurité juridique et matérielle par le prisme des contrats-types ou des obligations mises à la charge du transporteur, de l’incidence du droit de la consommation…La sécurité c’est aussi s’intéresser aux transports de produits particuliers comme les produits de santé ou à de nouvelles formes de transport comme le transport collaboratif.

We turn on the lights in our house from a desk in an office miles away. Our refrigerator alerts us to buy milk on the way home. A package of cookies on the supermarket shelf suggests that we buy it, based on past purchases. The cookies themselves are on the shelf because of a "smart" supply chain. When we get home, the thermostat has already adjusted the temperature so that it's toasty or bracing, whichever we prefer. This is the Internet of Things - a networked world of connected devices, objects, and people. In this book Samuel Greengard offers a guided tour through this emerging world and how it will change the way we live and work.
