This ook deals with Finnish sauna: what it is, what it does, how it should be designed and constructed, and how it is used. This does not mean that the Finnish way is the only way but, as the Finns have developed this form of bathing over the centuries, it seems sensible to concentrate on their rituals and traditions which have remained virtually unchanged up to present time.
