Au Sénégal, des dégradations et vulnérabilités importantes de l’environnement ont été constatées. Elles sont à une grande partie dues au comportement de la population dans toutes les couches de la société : économie, sociale, artisanale, industrielle etc. Alors que la santé environnementale est liée à la qualité de vie des populations et de son milieu, les déchets sont problématiques et leurs mises en décharges sont importantes pour une bonne gestion de la cité.
Les décharges correspondent à des endroits sollicités pour réceptionner les déchets provenant des foyers, des industries etc. Dans la commune de Louga, la décharge cohabite avec la population de la ville. Cette proximité engendre un impact mal contrôlé. Par conséquent, les habitants, les récupérateurs et les gérants sont tous exposés aux problèmes de santé publique et d’insalubrité.
L’état de fonctionnement et de dégradation de la décharge montrent l’envahissement des déchets dans la ville et augmentent l’insalubrité. La configuration de la décharge laisse présager une courte durée de vie. De ce fait, l’étude de certains facteurs sociaux déterminants de la santé, dans la commune, est intéressante. Le réaménagement augmente la durée de vie de la décharge et amoindris l’impact des déchets dans la commune. La pauvreté et le mauvais état de détérioration environnementale de la décharge s’aggravent mutuellement par le biais de l’ignorance et /ou de l’abandon des bonnes habitudes. 
Le but de ce travail est de faire une analyse de la gestion des risques environnementaux au sein de la décharge et des quartiers riverains. Il peut permettre l’amélioration des conditions de vie des populations de la commune de Louga et surtout des habitants aux alentours de la décharge. Les principes fondamentaux sont étudiés pour assurer la bonne gestion des risques environnementaux sur la décharge. 
L’objectif de cette étude est également d’identifier des mesures préventives. A l’issu de nos études, Les résultats suivants se sont dégagés : l’insuffisance des casiers qui peuvent nourrir la décharge à long terme et les solutions pour y remédier. L’enquête déduit des alertes sur des maladies qui peuvent provenir de la décharge et l’insalubrité dans la ville. La protection de la l’environnement de la décharge et l’élargissement des casiers sont les grands défis pour limiter les risques. La pollution reste universelle et une charge mesurable de l’écosystème. L’étude des polluants provenant de la décharge reste inéluctable pour la bonne gestion des impacts.
Ce projet de fin d’étude a une orientation bibliographique et analytique. Il comporte trois chapitres : le premier donne des notions générales sur les décharges ; le second renseigne la généralité sur l’analyse et la gestion des risques. Le chapitre trois est une application de l’analyse et la gestion des risques dans la décharge de la commune de Louga et propose des mesures préventives pour la bonne prise en compte de l’environnement.

. In Senegal, significant environmental degradation and vulnerabilities have been observed. They are due in large part to the behaviour of the population in all sectors of society: economic, social, artisanal, industrial, etc. While environmental health is linked to the quality of life of populations and their environment, waste is problematic and its disposal is important for good urban management.
Landfills are places or places requested to receive waste from households. In the municipality of Louga, the landfill coexists with the population of the city. Its proximity and availability mean that its impact is poorly controlled by society. As a result, residents, reclaimers and managers are exposed to public health and unhealthy conditions.
The operating and degraded state of the landfill shows the invasion of waste into the city and increases insalubrious conditions. The configuration of the landfill makes it possible to deduce its short term lifetime. As a result, the study of certain social determinants of health in the municipality is interesting. The redevelopment of the garbage dump increases the life of the landfill and reduces the impact of waste in the municipality. Poverty and poor environmental deterioration of the landfill worsen each other through ignorance and/or the abandonment of good habits. 
The purpose of this work is to analyze and manage environmental risks within the landfill and riverside neighbourhoods. It aims to improve the living conditions of the populations of the Louga commune and especially of the inhabitants around the landfill site. The fundamental principles are studied to ensure the proper management of environmental risks on the landfill. 
The objective of this study is to see the risks caused by the state of the landfill in the environment and to find preventive measures to reduce the damage. At the end of our studies, the results were as follows: the inadequacy of the traps that can feed the landfill in the long term and the solutions to remedy them. The survey shows alerts on diseases that can come from the landfill and unsanitary conditions in the city. In short, protecting the environment of the landfill and widening the traps are the major challenges to reduce the risks. Pollution remains universal and a measurable burden on the ecosystem. The study of pollutants from the landfill remains unavoidable for the proper management of impacts.
This final study project has a bibliographic and analytical orientation and consists of three chapters: the first one gives general notions on landfills; the second one gives general information on risk analysis and management. Chapter three applies risk analysis and management in the Louga municipal landfill and proposes preventive measures to ensure that the environment is properly taken into account.
