"Reconstituted families in Late Antiquity addresses the phenomena of remarriage after divorce or widowhood in society, law and mentality of the Jewish, pagan and Roman-Christian antiquity. Posits a consistency between a changing Jewish marriage law in the first century and the beginning of the formation of a new Christian view of the family structure.
