Cet ouvrage, édité à l'occasion de l'exposition de 1996 à Prague, retrace l'intervention de Josip Plecnik sur le château de Prague dont il est nommé architecte en chef en 1920. Il transforme un bâtiment médiéval et impérial en un bâtiment présidentiel moderne destiné au président Tomas Masaryk de la toute nouvelle Tchécoslovaquie.
