Prenant le contexte du référentiel de formation en soins infirmiers, cet ouvrage s'inscrit dans une réflexion générale du et sur le tutorat. Ni guide, ni recueil d'outils, il se veut une contribution à la naissance d'un accompagnement spécifique, le tutorat, qui questionne le rôle du formateur de terrain et ses relations avec le tutoré. D'abord, ce livre s'intéresse au contexte d'apparition du tutorat au travers de la formation infirmière. La logique de construction du référentiel, les finalités de la formation, les principes pédagogiques qui y sont revendiqués, l'organisation de l'alternance sont autant de pistes qui peuvent permettre de comprendre ce que peut être le tutorat. Il propose ensuite un panorama des paradigmes pédagogiques qui guident ce dispositif de formation. Il présente successivement le constructivisme, le socioconstructivisme, l'approche réflexive, l'autoformation et l'alternance. Là encore, il identifie les incidences de ces orientations pédagogiques sur la relation tuteur/tutoré. Il analyse également les notions d'accompagnement et de tutorat pour constater qu'il ne peut y avoir de tutorat sans accompagnement et que le tutorat est une forme d'accompagnement pédagogique très spécifique. Enfin le dernier chapitre s'intéresse à la formation de tuteur et à l'inscription du tutorat dans les politiques des établissements. Ce livre s'adresse aux professionnels qui ont accepté de s'engager dans la fonction tutorale, aux managers qui conduisent les politiques d'accueil des stagiaires mais également à toutes les personnes qui souhaitent penser l'accompagnement tutoral dans les formations paramédicales.

Abstract

This book presents a wide ranging, international overview of innovations in fieldwork education in three allied health disciplines. It provides theoretical foundations and evaluations of implementation and outcomes of a range of approaches used in fieldwork education. The various chapters identify new models, locations and modes of delivery, and teaching and learning strategies for fieldwork education. They also point to emerging possibilities for fieldwork education for the future. This book identifies that there is a developing evidence-base for innovation in fieldwork education and there is a need for the practice of educational evaluation and enhancement to become habitual and ongoing.
