Panpsychism is the view that consciousness – the most puzzling and strangest phenomenon in the entire universe – is a fundamental and ubiquitous feature of the world, though in a form very remote from human consciousness. Minding Creation brings together the theologies of Augustine of Hippo, Gottfried von Leibniz and other major figures, and the philosophy of such contemporary thinkers as Thomas Nagel, Galen Strawson and David J.
