La narración es una herramienta educativa de primer orden. Con el denominado «giro narrativo» en el ámbito de las ciencias sociales, el interés por sus diversas formas y contextos no ha dejado de aumentar, hasta el punto de generar una nueva disciplina: la narratología. Sin embargo, su repercusión tanto en el ámbito educativo de la escuela, como en la educación social y el trabajo social, no ha sido tan amplia.
