Cet ouvrage présente un court descriptif permettant d’aborder et de comprendre la conduite d’expériences en Résonnance Magnétique Nucléaire (RMN). Il est destiné à tous les utilisateurs de spectromètre RMN qui cherchent à analyser les différentes allures des spectres obtenus. Les aspects pratiques et les applications ne sont pas ici traités. Ce livre fournit, d’une manière accessible et relativement informelle, les outils conceptuels et théoriques nécessaires pour comprendre quelques-unes des techniques, multi-impulsionnelle, multi-nucléaire, multi-dimensionnelle, mises en oeuvre par les chimistes et les biochimistes afin de sonder les structures et la dynamique de molécules placées en milieu liquide. Bien que l’approche soit mathématique, les auteurs ont proposé des démonstrations aussi simples que possible, tout en maintenant un niveau raisonnable de précision. De brefs rappels d’éléments d’algèbre en marge et des exercices corrigés à la fin de chaque chapitre complètent l’ouvrage.
