Aims and Scope In what ways does literary authorship participate in creating the “poetics of the self?” Using the works of Goetz, Lottmann, and Herbst, this study applies the insights of autofiction research to develop a set of methodological tools that take into account the nature of today’s media systems. The result is the emergence of a kind of self-poetics that transcends boundaries, where the distinction between life and work is obliterated.
