Il existe très peu de publications en langue française sur le Hezbollah, qui est pourtant devenu, au fil des années, l'un des principaux acteurs de la scène politique moyen-orientale. Solidement implanté dans la communauté chiite libanaise, disposant d'une force armée et d'un vaste réseau d'alliés, il soulève les passions les plus violentes et les plus contradictoires tant au Liban qu'à l'échelle régionale et internationale. For thirty years, Hezbollah has played a pivotal role in Lebanese and global politics. That visibility has invited Hezbollah's lionization and vilification by outside observers, and at the same time has prevented a clear-eyed view of Hezbollah's place in the history of the Middle East and its future course of action.
