Following François Laruelle's nonstandard philosophy and the work of Judith Butler, Drucilla Cornell, Luce Irigaray, and Rosi Braidotti, Katerina Kolozova reclaims the relevance of categories traditionally rendered "unthinkable" by postmodern feminist philosophies, such as "the real," "the one," "the limit," and "finality," thus critically repositioning poststructuralist feminist philosophy and gender/queer studies.Poststructuralist (feminist) theory sees the subject as a purely linguistic category, as always already multiple, as always already nonfixed and fluctuating, as limitless discursivity, and as constitutively detached from the instance of the real. This reconceptualization is based on the exclusion of and dichotomous opposition to notions of the real, the one (unity and continuity), and the stable. The non-philosophical reading of postructuralist philosophy engenders new forms of universalisms for global debate and action, expressed in a language the world can understand. It also liberates theory from ideological paralysis, recasting the real as an immediately experienced human condition determined by gender, race, and social and economic circumstance.

Le grand massif de la phénoménologie ne cesse de travailler et de bouger. Il fallait chercher une loi de consommation et de dispersion de l'héritage husserlien. Hugues Choplin la trouve dans un nouveau réel à défendre : l'homme, fût-ce contre la phénoménologie elle-même. Et dans des moyens phénoménologiques réformés : ceux de la " donation " et du " donné-sans-donation " (Laruelle). Muni de cet instrument, il part à la recherche des différentes figures de l'homme : l'Ego, la Vie, le Soi et le Visage, l'Ego-en-Ego ou l'Un-en-Un...Toutes les phénoménologies ne sont pas ici convoquées. On ne trouvera que les positions post-et non-husserliennes les plus écartées, telles qu'elles peuvent être mises en place (Henry, Marion) par rapport à la transcendance radicale comme " percée " (Lévinas) ou à l'immanence radicale comme identité (Laruelle). C'est donc d'une description et d'une articulation topologiques de positions relatives qu'il s'agit, plutôt que de l'étude érudite du détail des doctrines. Ce travail de cartographie post-husserlienne ne porte pas de jugement sur les phénoménologues et sur le destin de la phénoménologie. Il mesure des écarts et des émergences, ceux qui conduisent de la phénoménologie à la " non-philosophie " et à se mise en oeuvre comme " non-phénoménologie ".
