La techno et l'ecstasy multipliaient les nuits blanches. La France était reine du football. De grandes grèves réveillaient le mouvement social, et les idéo logues qui croyaient avoir vaincu le communisme commençaient à déchanter, pendant qu'Internet balbutiait et qu'un président américain jouait son poste sur une gâterie.
