Within the continuum of reproductive health care, antenatal care (ANC) provides a platform for important healthcare functions, including health promotion, screening and diagnosis, and disease prevention. It has been established that, by implementing timely and appropriate evidence-based practices, ANC can save lives. Endorsed, by the UN Secretary-General, this is a comprehensive WHO guideline on routine ANC for pregnant women and adolescent girls. It aims to complement existing WHO guidelines on the management of specific pregnancy-related complications. The guidance aims to capture the complex nature of the issues surrounding ANC health care practices and delivery, and to prioritize person-centred health and well-being, not only the prevention of death and morbidity, in accordance with a human rights-based approach.

My memory consists of an analysis of the nutrition recommendations issued by the Higher Health Council in 2016 and in a comparison of these with their use in pharmacy in relation to the chapter on K vitamin. After having concentrated myself on the CSS, on their methodology of writing this review and after analyzing their recommendations concerning K vitamin, I will try to situate the place of these in the practice of the pharmacist by looking at the different patients at risk of deficiency in K Vitamin. After having observed many differences in two pharmacies compared to the specialties delivered for the prevention of hemorrhagic risk of the newborn, I analyzed the recommendations of the CSS and confronted them with the protocols of prevention implemented in three Hospitals using a questionnaire completed by three hospital pediatricians. For other patients at risk, I will compare these recommendations with different practical cases encountered during my training or reported by pharmacists. These analyzes reveal surprises ...
