Het blad 'Der Sturm' dat vanaf 3 maart 1910 tot 1932 regelmatig verscheen, zou tot in de jaren twintig zijn invloed op de moderne kunst in Europa doen gelden en de kunststromingen van het begin van de twintigste eeuw laten zien.Tot de Eerste Wereldoorlog bracht Der Sturm het futurisme, het kubisme en het expressionisme. Ook was er veel aandacht voor de nieuwe Russische kunstrichtingen en de ontwikkelingen van de avant-garde in Polen, Tsjechoslowakije, Hongarije, Bulgarije en Slovenië. Émile Marius Malespine (Nancy, 3 juillet 1892 - Paris, 25 mars 19521) est un médecin, psychiatre, écrivain, peintre, théoricien, éditeur, poète, homme de théâtre, de cinéma et de radio, concepteur de mobilier. Méconnu, il fait partie des figures qui véhiculent, à Lyon, le mouvement avant-garde du début du xxe siècle. Il dirige à Lyon la revue Manomètre de 1922 à 1928. (wikipedia)

SIC, sous-titrée Sons Idées Couleurs, Formes, est une revue d'avant-garde parisienne qui fut publiée de janvier 1916 à décembre 1919 sous la direction du poète Pierre Albert-Birot. D'abord entièrement rédigée sans nom d'auteur par ce dernier et sa femme Germaine, elle a bénéficié dès le second numéro de l'impulsion du peintre futuriste Gino Severini. Ouverte grâce à lui aux milieux de l'avant-garde, elle a compté pour collaborateurs réguliers, entre autres, Guillaume Apollinaire, Pierre Reverdy, Louis Aragon et Philippe Soupault. Elle fut aussi la seconde, après Nord-Sud, revue parisienne à diffuser, sans s'affilier au mouvement, les textes des dadaïstes zurichois, savoir ceux de Tristan Tzara1.
