The "Technical Textiles-Present and Future" International Symposium is a scientific event that has become traditional in the field of textiles, since 2009, being organized by the Department of Engineering and Design of Textile Products within the Faculty of Industrial Design and Business Management from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania. Over the years and from one edition to another, the symposium brought together leading researchers, textile experts from the industry, teachers from academia and vocational education, PhD students, and relevant stakeholders from the national and international scientific area to share their knowledge and the good practices regarding technical textiles. Reaching the seventh edition now, the TTPF symposium has become a scientific forum in the field of technical textiles, supporting the cross-disciplinary research fields, providing the participants a real opportunity for ideas exchanging, to present the latest achievements, and to discuss perspectives. With the focus on the latest scientific advances in technical textiles but also on the companies' needs for innovative solutions, a new topic concerning environmental and sustainability issues for the technical textiles field was introduced for TTPF 2021, a topic which we hope will stir the interest of all participants. For the 7th TTPF International Symposium, the topics are: Technical Textiles for Agrotech, Buildtech, and Geotech Applications; Technical Textiles for Clothtech and Hometech Applications; Technical Textiles for Indutech and Mobiltech Applications; Functional and Smart Textiles for Medtech, Protech, and Sportech Applications; Technical Textiles for Oekotech and Packtech Applications; Technical Textiles and Sustainability; Textile Education and Training for the Technical Textiles Field; The "Technical Textiles-Present and Future" International Symposium is a scientific event that has become traditional in the field of textiles, since 2009, being organized by the Department of Engineering and Design of Textile Products within the Faculty of Industrial Design and Business Management from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania. The International Symposium on Technikpsychologie celebrates 100 years of interdisciplinary research of human-technology interaction at TU Darmstadt that dates back to the foundation of the institute for "Psychotechnik" in 1922. Since the introduction of the first functional computers in the 1940s, human-technology interaction has become increasingly relevant. Today’s industry is characterized by fully automatized productions, supply chains, and mobility processes in the IoT "Internet of Things", for example, smart homes with their privacy, safety, and security problems. Increasingly effective and satisfying direct human-robot-interactions, artificial intelligence, and machine learning are developing. Finally, technology is networking our lives completely, private and at work. Based on this historical development of human-technology interaction, the conference proceedings comprise a collection of current interdisciplinary research and development activities across departments of engineering and natural sciences as well as human and social sciences that cover the various aspects of "Technikpsychologie". The conference takes place on 15th February 2023 with pre- and post-workshops on 14th and 16th February that are supposed to foster the interaction of students and researchers. Topics of interest include research on the psychological aspects of human-technology interaction across disciplines and application areas such as architecture, computer science, engineering, design, medicine, and aviation, as well as the legal and ethical aspects of technology. https://www.editorialmanager.com/tecpsy/default1.aspx The International Symposium on Technikpsychologie celebrates 100 years of interdisciplinary research of human-technology interaction at TU Darmstadt that dates back to the foundation of the institute for "Psychotechnik" in 1922.
