Abstract

This standard is intended as a basis for the establishment of performance, limited electrical and mechanical interchangeability, and safety requirements of equipment described; and for assistance in the proper selection of such equipment. This standard describes electrical, mechanical, and safety requirements of liquid-immersed distribution and power transformers, and autotransformers and regulating transformers; single and polyphase, with voltage 601 V or higher in the highest voltage winding. This standard applies to all liquid-immersed distribution, power, and regulating transformers except as indicated below: (1) Instrument transformers. (2) Step-voltage and induction voltage regulators. (3) Arc furnace transformers. (4) Rectifier transformers. (5) Specialty transformers. (6) Grounding transformers. (7) Mobile transformers. (8) Mine transformers. When this standard is used on a mandatory basis, the words shall and must indicates mandatory requirements; and the words should and may.

Die Kenntnis der taktfrequenten Änderung der Maschinenströme ist für viele Verfahren zur Regelung moderner, hoch ausgenutzter elektrischer Maschinen von großem Vorteil. Doch wie können diese Änderungen der Maschinenströme im Betrieb überhaupt zuverlässig gemessen werden? Reicht die sehr kurze Zeit der einzelnen Schaltzustände dazu überhaupt aus? Und wie können die Änderungen der Ströme mathematisch beschrieben und physikalisch interpretiert werden? Auf diese Fragen gibt diese Arbeit eine Antwort. - Knowledge of the inverter induced current ripple of machine currents is of great advantage for many control schemes of modern, highly utilized electrical machines. But how can the current ripple be measured reliably during operation? Is the very short time of each switching state long enough? Abstract

Abstract

This book presents a thorough state-of-the-art review for internally compensated Low Dropout Regulators (IC-LDO). It serves as a useful guide for circuit designers. The advantages and disadvantages of each cell proposed are highlighted. The authors describe an alternative to the classical topology; the Flipped Voltage Follower (FVF), which has been recently applied in the design of internally compensated LDOs to enhance their performances. This book provides novel circuits enhancing those parameters of LDO related with frequency behavior and power consumption. These solutions, as well as their appropriate design methodology, are properly described within the text.
