Draadloze communicatie is niet meer weg te denken de dag van vandaag. In deze thesis wordt een draadloos zend- en ontvangstsysteem ontwikkeld. Het ontwerp is op te delen in drie stukken. Eerst is er de zender die instaat voor het verzenden van de data gemoduleerd in de 2,4GHz band. Hiervoor zijn vormen van frequentie-, amplitude- en fasemodulatie geïmplementeerd. Vervolgens is er de ontvangstmodule die de ontvangen signalen filtert en omlaag converteert. Om in het geval van interferentie, door het intensieve gebruik van de frequentieband, op een andere frequentie te kunnen ontvangen, is deze ontvanger daarenboven regelbaar gemaakt. Als laatste onderdeel is er nog het verwerkingsgedeelte. Dit is opgebouwd uit een DVB-T module en een softwareprogramma, namelijk SDR#. Samen staan ze in voor het demoduleren van de ontvangen signalen uit de ontvangstmodule om er zo de verzonden data uit te halen. Door het combineren van deze componenten ontstaat een flexibel systeem om draadloos data te zenden en ontvangen. It is impossible to imagine the modern world without wireless communication. In this thesis, a wireless transmitter and receiver system is developed. The design can be divided into three parts. First there is the transmitter who is responsible for the transmission of the data modulated in the 2,4GHz band. Therefore, implementations of frequency, amplitude and phase modulation are present. Next there is the receiver which filters and down converts the received signals. Given the large number of users, interference is likely in this frequency band. For this reason, a frequency-agile receiver with good selectivity is designed. Finally there is the processing section. This part consists of a DVB-T module and a software program, SDR#. Together they are responsible for the demodulation and detection of the received signals to reproduce the transmitted data. These three parts are combined into a flexible wireless data transfer system.
