The experience of writing with others facilitates a horizontal dialogue which allows us to get to know others and their migratory and family histories. From a decolonial perspective, the author presents testimonies of migration through Mexico and the displacements of Pewenche families as a result of hydroelectric installations in the South of Chile. This book contributes to making visible how family imaginaries are transformed by migration. The testimonies introduce an intimate view on the entanglements of personal experiences and the nuances of neoliberal-patriarchal societies in the Americas. The ideal of the “happy family”, as well as the construction of the “poor migrant” lose their power because within the testimonies also appears the agency of the subject within the inter-American family and migratory changes.

Il s'agit d'une analyse littéraire des romans "Moi, Tituba sorcière... Noire de Salem", "Victoire, les saveurs et les mots", "Histoire de la femme cannibale" et "Le fabuleux et triste destin d'Ivan et Ivana" de Maryse Condé dans une perspective intersectionnelle et décoloniale, à savoir l'héritage de l'esclavage vis-à-vis de la condition de la femme noire antillaise à travers les époques postcoloniales et contemporaines, ainsi que des thématiques telles que la perpétuation du racisme et le maintien des structures sociales, la sexualité, la maternité. L'analyse se concentre également sur la stéréotypisation de la femme en tant que "sorcière" et "cannibale" avant de démontrer les formes de résistance mises en place face à la fatalité des discours performatifs.

De quoi les Noirs souffrent-ils ? Quels sont les obstacles, les violences, les privations, les déprédations, les rapines, les humiliations qui définissent l’histoire qui est en propre la leur ? Le plus souvent, les Noirs sont considérés comme un groupe plus malmené que les autres. Tout le monde peut se trouver exploité au travail, mais les Noirs le sont davantage. Tout le monde peut voir ses ressources appropriées, mais celles de l’Afrique le sont plus systématiquement. Tout le monde peut être harcelé par les forces de l’ordre, mais les Noirs sont victimes d’un délit de faciès. Il y aurait, entre la violence subie par le Noir et celle rencontrée par le Blanc, une différence de degré. »Dans cet essai limpide, Norman Ajari dénonce les effets de la déshumanisation noire, critique les fausses solutions militantes et théoriques et pose les bases d’une nouvelle idéologie panafricaine, sociale et révolutionnaire.
