"Análisis de la Conversación provides the first comprehensive, Spanish-language introduction to the field of Conversation Analysis (CA), utilizing conversational data that is publicly available online. The book is organized in nine chapters. The opening chapters introduce Conversation Analysis as a unique theory and method to study language and other forms of conduct in social interaction. Readers are presented with a history of the development of this framework for analyzing interaction and introduced to the transcription system used in CA. The following chapters explore four key domains of organization within spontaneous conversation-turn-taking, preference, sequence, and repair-highlighting the importance of turn design practices in each. The authors then review the connection of these organizations and practices to social contexts and participant identities, and they conclude by suggesting a range of avenues for future research on Spanish conversation, including its relevance in specific legal, political, medical, and technological settings. During the recent decades Conversation Analysis has developed into a distinctive method for analyzing talk in interaction. The method is utilized in several disciplines sharing an interest in social interaction, like anthropology, linguistics, social psychology, and sociology, and it has been applied to a great variety of languages and types of interaction. Conversation Analysis then is coming of age as a truly comparative enterprise. This volume presents and discusses comparative approaches to analyzing interactional practices and structures. The contributors to the volume have their background in sociology, linguistics, and logopedics. Die gesellschaftliche Bedeutung populärkultureller Formate wie der TV-Serie hängt nicht nur von den ästhetischen Medienprodukten selbst ab, sondern auch von ihrer kommunikativen Verarbeitung in der Interaktion. Dabei bieten Serien in hohem Maße ein identitäts- und gemeinschaftsstiftendes Potential, dem sich die vorliegende Studie aus gesprächsanalytischer Perspektive widmet. Anhand von videographierten Gesprächen über Serien und Serienrezeption zwischen Schüler/-innen wird erörtert, wie sich die Teilnehmenden miteinander vergemeinschaften und voneinander abgrenzen, in welchem Zusammenhang dabei interaktive Bewertungskonstruktionen und der relative Wissensstatus stehen und welchen Einfluss die medialen und ästhetischen Ressourcen der Serien für interaktionale Positionierungspraktiken haben. Umfangreiche Detailanalysen werden in einem Analysemodell zusammengeführt, das dabei helfen kann, sowohl die Komplexität von Serienkommunikation als auch die sozialisatorische Relevanz von Serienrezeption in jugendlichen Peer-Groups besser zu verstehen. Die Arbeit schließt an zentrale Forschungslinien der Konversations- und Diskursanalyse an und bietet Anknüpfungspunkte für künftige Untersuchungen zu medienbezogenen Interaktionen.
