"La violence verbale est aussi efficace sur scène que la violence physique. C'est un instrument essentiel pour construire le pouvoir et l'autorité : Tamburlaine (Marlowe) ou Richard III (Shakespeare) exploitent la tromperie, manipulent, abusent et détruisent leurs adversaires avec par la violence verbale.
