"In 2004 the book Joseph Beuys: Posters by Isabel Siben was published to accompany an exhibition of the von der Osten Collection shown in Munich, Hamburg and Heidenheim. The collection was concurrently donated to Hamburg's Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe and became an important part of the extensive holdings of the international artist's posters. In 2021, on the hundredth anniversary of Joseph Beuys's birth, the poster catalogue is being published in a completely revised new edition. As part of this, the Hamburg collectors Rene S. Spiegelberger and Claus von der Osten have compared their holdings of Beuys posters and, through extensive research and several acquisitions, have expanded the catalogue to include more than eighty new entries."--
