The information needs of researchers and the ways in which the quality of information provision can be enhanced for researchers are currently a focus of attention globally, and are major priorities for higher education. The role of the librarian increasingly involves delivering information literacy using a range of teaching methods, from delivering induction sessions to informal one-to-one support on a day-to-day basis.
