This book brings together original research on the role of networks in regional economic development and innovation. It presents a comprehensive framework synthesizing extant theories, a palette of real-world cases in the aerospace, automotive, life science, biotechnology and health care industries, and fundamental agent-based computer models elucidating the relation between regional development and network dynamics. The book is primarily intended for researchers in the fields of innovation economics and evolutionary economic geography, and particularly those interested in using agent-based models and empirical case studies. Deze scriptie behandelt afschrijvingen. Er wordt een vergelijking gemaakt tussen de boekhoudkundige afschrijvingen met al zijn deelaspecten tegenover de internationale normen en de fiscale benadering. Na de uitleg van de boekhoudkundige verwerking wordt de werking bij Ernst & Young verklaard. Bij de internationale normen worden de desbetreffende IAS normen besproken alsook de verwerking bij geconsolideerde ondernemingen. In het fiscale deel worden alle deelaspecten vernoemd en cijfervoorbeelden van afschrijvingsexcedenten verduidelijkt.

Pieter van Dijk has devoted his working life to the theory and practice of fundamental rights and principles. Therefore, it may not come as a surprise that his liber amicorum is devoted to these values. Many of his friends and (former) colleagues from – inter alia – the Council of State of the Netherlands, the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, the European Commission for Democracy through Law of the Council of Europe (the Venice Commission) and the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba have contributed to this volume.
