Publicatie ter gelegenheid van de uitreiking van de Ouborg Prijs 2011, en de tentoonstelling in het Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, 26 november 2011 t/m 18 maart 2012. De Ouborg Prijs is een oeuvre prijs voor de Haagse beeldende kunst, ingesteld in 1990, door het stadsbestuur van de gemeente Den Haag. Er is naast een geldprijs een tentoonstelling aan verbonden in het Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, en een publicatie verzorgt door Stroom Den Haag. Het sculpturale werk van André Kruysen kent tal van tegenstrijdigheden. De sacrale werking van het daglicht staat in schril contrast met de snelle beeldcultuur waarin we leven en die overal in onze leefomgeving opdoemt.
