Work-family enrichment explores the positive side of the work-family interface. This construct can be differentiated from others as the definition implies that within the transfer of benefits from one domain (e.g. family) to another domain (e.g. work) an improvement in the quality of life should occur. In this master thesis we examined whether the advantages of work-family enrichment have an impact on family outcomes (i.e. family role performance and relationship satisfaction). We additionally analysed if gender would strengthen these relationships. The hypotheses were tested via a quantitative cross-sectional survey with 405 respondents. Results showed that only family-to-work enrichment is positively related to both family role performance and relationship satisfaction. Whereas work-to-family enrichment has no significant connections with the dependent variables (i.e. family role performance and relationship satisfaction). There was also no evidence found that gender moderates any of these relationships. Keywords: work-family enrichment, family role performance, relationship satisfaction, gender
