Prendiamo un giornale e facciamone una palestra di scrittura. Perché per imparare a scrivere bene bisogna prima capire come funziona un testo efficace. Ci sono molti libri che spiegano come bisognerebbe scrivere in teoria. Leggere, scrivere argomentare. Prove ragionate di scrittura di Luca Serianni, invece, punta tutto sulla pratica. Per riuscirci, bisogna innanzi tutto partire da un modello (come i diversi tipi di testo che troveremo in queste pagine: dall’articolo di cronaca a quello di divulgazione scientifica). Poi scomporre quel modello nelle sue componenti, analizzandolo movimento per movimento (come si fa qui nel commento linguistico che segue ogni testo). E poi esercitarsi: fare tanti esercizi pensati per sviluppare ognuna delle abilità necessarie a quel risultato. Esercizi per rafforzare il nostro vocabolario, imparando a scegliere la parola giusta per completare una frase (anche ricostruendola a partire dalla definizione di un dizionario). Esercizi per allenare la nostra capacità di collegare le frasi con i giusti nessi logici, andando a cercare l’intruso, l’elemento sbagliato che altera il senso del testo. Il tutto senza trascurare il divertimento: perché scrivere è una cosa seria, non seriosa.
