Gleichwohl bildeten die Texte dramatischer Autoren einen wichtigen theoretischen Bezugsrahmen für Literatur, Philosophie, Religion. Entsprechend stehen in zahlreichen Beiträgen rezeptionsgeschichtliche Fragestellungen im Mittelpunkt, die einen Zeitraum von der archaischen Dichtung Roms bis in die frühe Neuzeit umfassen.
