Christine Schmitt hat erstmals Bronchialwände histologisch und radiologisch vergleichend vermessen. Die Autorin wies signifikante Unterschiede zwischen allen untersuchten Verfahren mit einem Größenunterschied der Bronchialwanddicke von 14% zwischen histologischen und 50% zwischen radiologischen Verfahren nach; die histologisch-radiologische Messdifferenz betrug bis 58%. Diese Erkenntnisse sind für den Vergleich histologischer Schnittpräparate mit radiologischen Methoden für die weitere Entwicklung und Optimierung bildgebender Verfahren essentiell, da solche histologischen Schnittbilder als morphologische Vorlage in der Entwicklung bildgebender Verfahren wie der computertomographischen Vermessung der Atemwege dienen, welche in der modernen Diagnostik von Lungenerkrankungen wie Asthma bronchiale und COPD eine zunehmende Bedeutung gewinnt. Ce mémoire avait pour but de comparer des sujets effectuant une tâche de temps de réaction sériel en situation de simple tâche à des sujets effectuant cette même tâche en condition de double tâche. Ces deux groupes étaient quant à eux encore subdivisés en conditions implicite et explicite. Dans un 2e temps, l'intervalle réponse - stimulus a été manipulé. De nouveau, les sujets effectuaient la tâche sous consignes implicites ou explicites. Pour la moitié de chaque groupe, l'intervalle réponse - stimulus était égal è 250 ms, dans l'autre moitié, cet intervalle était nul. En plus des données récoltées grâce aux temps de réaction observés durant la tâche de temps de réaction sériel, les sujets étaient confrontés à une tâche de génération. Celle-ci devait être effectuée en condition d'inclusion et d'exclusion afin de permettre les calculs relatifs aux processus automatiques et contrôlés au moyen de la procédure de dissociation des processus. De plus, une tâche de reconnaissance, plus classique, a été administrée aux sujets.

The bioeconomy concept aims to add sustainability to the production, transformation, and trade of biological goods. Though implemented around the world, the development of national bioeconomies is uneven, especially in the global South, where major challenges exist in Sub-Saharan Africa. In this context, the international BiomassWeb project aimed to underpin the bioeconomy concept by applying the value web approach, which seeks to uncover complex interlinked value webs instead of linear value chains. The project also aimed to develop intervention options to strengthen and optimize the synergies and trade-offs among different value chains. The Special Issue “Advances in Food and Non-Food Biomass Production, Processing and Use in Sub-Saharan Africa: Toward a Basis for a Regional Bioeconomy"" compiles 23 articles produced in this framework. The articles are grouped in four sections: the value web approach; the production side; processing, transformation and trade; and global views.
