Although the Red River is a mere seven miles long, its course from Cornwall's rocky highlands to the North Alantic runs through one of the most culturally and geographically diverse parts of England. From the woodlands near its source, through upland farm country and the decaying factory town of Dolcoath, and down to the beach, photographer Jem Southam has documented the environment--natural and social-- of this tiny corner of the United Kingdom. http://www.photoeye.com/bookstore/citation.cfm?catalog=CN007&i=&i2=0948797258&CFID=13320237&CFTOKEN=77695435 (1/12/10)
