Dans la continuité du tome 1, cet ouvrage décrypte la qualité des travaux, la diversité des réalisations, la subtilité d'intervention qui font de l'Atelier Chaix & Morel l'une des agences d'architecture les plus dynamiques en France. Il présente les projets les plus marquants mis en oeuvre par l'agence entre 2006 et 2012, parmi lesquels : le siège et campus du groupe Thyssen Krupp à Essen (Allemagne), livré en 2010, le siège de la Banque Postale à Paris, livraison prévue en 2011, le théâtre de Sénart à Lieusaint, livraison prévue en 2014, le stade de Grenoble, livré en 2008, l'hôtel quai de Seine de Paris, livré en 2008, le hall 7 de Villepinte, livré en 2010. Une vingtaine de projets et de réalisations de l'Atelier d'architecture Chaix & Morel et associés sera présentée dans l'ouvrage, illustrée de photographies et de plans.

The first comprehensive monograph on the French-Lebanese architecture firm. Founded in 2008, the French-Lebanese firm of Youssef Tohme Architects and Associates has a delicate signature that takes the regional context as its starting point in developing an individual architectural language. By using a wide variety of materials that interact with the built environment, they create buildings that evolve over time alongside their inhabitants. The book documents twelve of the firm’s projects – from a single-family home to a museum, including urban interventions in Beirut, Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, and Bucharest. The book also includes an essay that takes a comprehensive look at the working methods of this firm, focusing in particular on the dimension of time and the changes that occur as the buildings are used.

Founded in 2001 by Martin Bez and Thorsten Kock, the 50-strong team at bez+kock architekten is largely commissioned as the result of competitions. Despite the wide range of tasks, the Stuttgart-based office’s designs all make an autonomous, locally specific and sustainable contribution to building culture. Their green adventure centre in the Luisenpark was a highlight of the Bundesgartenschau 2023 in Mannheim.
