The last two decades have seen ground-shifting changes in the epidemiology, genetics, diagnosis and management of renal cancer. Advances in diagnosis have led to many tumours being identified at an asymptomatic stage. There have also been parallel advances in treatment, such as nephron sparing procedures and radiologically guided ablative procedures. However, these changes have brought with them dilemmas such as our ability to evaluate the nature and aggressiveness of early stage tumours and how best to identify those patients who will benefit most from early treatment. This practical, clinically-oriented volume focuses on these current diagnostic and clinical challenges, making it relevant to all members of the multidisciplinary cancer care team.

Imaging of the Lower Urinary Tract is a practical, user-friendly aid to planning a thorough radiological and dynamic investigation of the lower urinary tract. It provides a holistic approach, marrying the diagnosis of both anatomical and functional abnormalities. Both comprehensive and concise, this book covers the range of lower urinary tract disorders that are commonly encountered in adult urological practice whilst presenting the information clearly. Key point summaries further aid quick reference in the clinical setting. Dr Uday Patel, MBChB MRCP FRCR is Consultant Uro-Radiologist at St Georges Hospital and The Princess Grace Hospital, London, UK. He is an internationally recognized expert in urological imaging, as both a practitioner and teacher.

Managing Common Interventional Radiology Complications: A Case Based Approach is an easy-to-use manual that will help trainees and practising radiologists by providing cases which cover most of the complications that a general interventionalist may encounter in normal practice. The cases are presented succinctly but thoroughly, so that the reader is equipped to manage the complication immediately. Managing Common Interventional Radiology Complications: A Case Based Approach aims to teach the range of procedures involved in interventional radiology, and focuses on the complications that can arise in the process.

Images in Urology is a unique book that integrates images of urological conditions within their clinical context. Improvements in imaging techniques have meant greater diagnostic power and a dramatic rise in the number and quality of images obtained and viewed by practicing clinicians. None more so than in the field of urology, where static and dynamic images are fundamental to the diagnosis and treatment of almost all conditions. This book presents images of radiological and radionucleotide scans, macroscopic and microscopic histopathology specimens, urodynamic traces and photographs of dermatological conditions relating to urology. Each section has a series of questions, often relating to a clinical scenario, about the images. A comprehensive answer provides a description of each image and of the condition shown. Details of how to interpret the image and the use of contrast or staining methods to help differentiate normal anatomy from pathology are included. Images in Urology is an essential tool for urology, radiology and histopathology trainees and consultants, as well as being an excellent exam preparation guide.
