In order to determinate if the self-compression technique in mammography may be proposed to patients in order to decrease pain without altering radiologic image quality, the study compares two groups of patients. The first group begins the exam with the self-compression technique and the second group begins the exam with the technologist-controlled compression. For each view, pain is scored by the patients, motion blur is evaluated by 2 radiologists and acquisition time is measured.
