Abstract

A World of Changemakers - how can a hybrid arts lecture series concept in e-learning create attitudes and shape skills as a playful and critical thinking navigator in an uncertain world? To re-create meaning is an interdisciplinary cross-sectional task of our Zeitgeist in a civil society. Our international guests represent key roles in relevant philosophical debates, non-university community art & design projects or companies as well as from the gallery or museum context.

Abstract

The SHARE Handbook for Artistic Research Education is a poly-vocal document, designed as a contribution to the field of artistic research education from an organisational, procedural and practical standpoint. As a provisional disclosure of the state of the art within specific constituencies, this publication seeks to be serviceable to many different agendas and projects, and it attempts to do this by demonstrating the lived contradictions of what is simultaneously both an emerging and fully formed domain of research education.

Abstract

Das Symposium Perspectives on Art Education (Wien, 28.-30. The training of teachers in arts universities is changing. It is confronted by the great challenge of essential cultural, technological, social and economic changes. The symposium "Perspectives on Art Education" (Vienna, May 28 - 30, 2015) is dedicated to these changes: What does the training need today in terms of artistic practice, research, and communication skills? What explanations do historical and contemporary approaches offer? What new strategies are needed in teaching and learning? How can the diverse approaches to art education in different cultures, embedded in various national structures and school types complement and empower each other and jointly develop?
