In a context of the concept of mutualization has been a hot topic both in the public and the private sector in recent years, with companies realizing that getting together allow them to achieve greater goats that when staying alone. Thereupon, companies have begun to get together and the most common outcomes are the creation of interorganizational projects and interorganizational structures. We’ve analysed a change project through the power-interest matrix. Then, we’ve performed in depths semi-constructive interviews (N=23) of FormaForm’s management, FormaForm’s employees and representatives of key-actors to gather helpful insights in order to localize the stakeholders in the partner’s map. Thereupon, we’ve used the transformation roadmap tool to anticipate and accompany change. Twelve stakeholders have been identified. Six stakeholders localized in the high interest/high power, highlighting the importance of careful stakeholders management, and five stakeholders localized in the high interest/low power, highlighting the importance of communication. The interviews have allowed us to identify the key-actors and FormaForm’s management as zealots and the employees as zealots and influencers. They also allowed us to identify potential key strengths and weaknesses of the project and to come up with lessons learned and suggestions in various topics: preliminary preparation, communication, work delegation and corporate culture. The transformation roadmap alongside with the interviews allowed us to identify risks and internal as well as external factors influencing the project. This allowed us to suggest mitigation actions in order to increase the probabilities of success of the project.

We live in an ever-changing world, with technologies becoming more and more present in our daily lives and in companies. Since 2011, we have been talking about the fourth industrial revolution or Industry 4.0. If large companies are generally technologically up to date, this is not always the case for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, there is a paradox (Solow paradox) that is often discussed by authors in the literature on the subject. Some studies have demonstrated a productivity paradox between the implementation of a new innovation in a firm and the increase in productivity. Productivity can be measured using financial and non-financial data. In this study, we will focus on non-financial aspects. My first objective is therefore to assess the presence or absence of the productivity paradox and the level of productivity improvement of a Belgian manufacturing SME following the implementation of an Industry 4.0 technology. My second objective is to identify the key success factors of this productivity improvement. To meet these objectives, we conducted a qualitative study of 15 interviews with managers of Belgian manufacturing SMEs. We used the method of Yin (2016) for the methodology of collection, analysis and interpretation of the collected data. We observe an absence of the productivity paradox and a positive productivity improvement regarding the factors of work productivity, communication and customer service. The main key success factors for SMEs are the knowledge and boldness of managers to embark on a project of transformation towards 4.0 technologies, the skills of the workers and the collaboration with actors internal and external to the firm.

Literature about either resilience, innovation or sustainability has been developed into a silo approach, usually ignoring links between them. First, we have defined these concepts and related models. Then, through our research questions, we attempt to identify these links. Through our first research question, “why and how resilience can be linked to innovation in an organisation?”, we aim to underline, thanks to scientific literature, links between organisational resilience capacity and organisational innovation capacity. The literature assumptions show that : organisational resilience capacity can stimulate organisational innovation capacity ; organisational resilience capacity provides many innovation opportunities that have positive impacts on organisational performance; fast evolving environment encourages organisational resilience capacity and thus, stimulate organisational innovation capacity. These assumptions has then been confronted to the case study findings. Afterwards, we formulate our second research question as follows : which links do exist between sustainability, resilience and innovation in an organisation? Our case study findings show that sustainability could act as a brake on the resilience capacity and innovation capacity of the organisation. We also assume that either sustainability, resilience or innovation could represent a brake or an opportunity for each other in an organisation, depending on circumstances. The case study is based on a single company. Moreover, we suggest a model combining resilience, innovation and sustainability that is used in our case study as an analysing tool. This model has then been improved based on the highlighted weakness during the case study. We also provide some suggested improvements to the company to improve its resilience capacity, innovation capacity or sustainability.
