Abstract

The 6th International Conference on Medical Imaging and Augmented Reality, MIAR 2016, was held in Bern, Switzerland during August 2016. The aim of MIAR is to bring together researchers in computer vision, graphics, robotics, and medical imaging to present the state-of-the-art developments in this ever-growing research area in topics such as: Medical Image Formation, Analysis and Interpretation Augmented Reality, Visualization and Simulation Computer Assisted Interventional and Robotics, Surgical Planning Systematic Extra- and Intra-corporeal Imaging Modalities General Biological and Neuroscience Image Computing.

Abstract

This book constitutes the proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Advances in Simplifying Medical UltraSound, ASMUS 2021, held on September 27, 2021, in conjunction with MICCAI 2021, the 24th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer-Assisted Intervention. The conference was planned to take place in Strasbourg, France, but changed to an online event due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The 22 papers presented in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 30 submissions. They were organized in topical sections as follows: segmentation and detection; registration, guidance and robotics; classification and image synthesis; and quality assessment and quantitative imaging.

This book constitutes the refereed joint proceedings of the 7th Joint International Workshop on Computing and Visualization for Intravascular Imaging and Computer Assisted Stenting, CVII-STENT 2018, and the Third International Workshop on Large-Scale Annotation of Biomedical Data and Expert Label Synthesis, LABELS 2018, held in conjunction with the 21th International Conference on Medical Imaging and Computer-Assisted Intervention, MICCAI 2018, in Granada, Spain, in September 2018. The 9 full papers presented at CVII-STENT 2017 and the 12 full papers presented at LABELS 2017 were carefully reviewed and selected. The CVII-STENT papers feature the state of the art in imaging, treatment, and computer-assisted intervention in the field of endovascular interventions. The LABELS papers present a variety of approaches for dealing with few labels, from transfer learning to crowdsourcing.

Abstract

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the First International Workshop on Machine Learning and Medical Engineering for Cardiovasvular Healthcare, MLMECH 2019, and the International Joint Workshops on Computing and Visualization for Intravascular Imaging and Computer Assisted Stenting, CVII-STENT 2019, held in conjunction with MICCAI 2019, in Shenzhen, China, in October 2019. For MLMECH 2019, 16 papers were accepted for publication from a total of 21 submissions. They focus on machine learning techniques and analyzing of ECG data in the diagnosis of heart diseases. CVII-STENT 2019 accepted all 8 submissiones for publication. They contain technological and scientific research concerning endovascular procedures. .
