"The monograph aims to point out the environmental factors that the target group of people with disabilities perceive as problematic, to describe the attitudes, fears that arise in connection with unsatisfactory conditions in the environment. A partial goal of the monograph is the creation of their proposal for environmental modifications by people with disabilities themselves. The uniqueness of the publication lies in the fact that it summarizes all the factors of environmental adjustment that determine inclusive education, socialization, employment and quality of life of people with disabilities. The fundamental concepts of the publication are orientation, self-service, mobility, household management, accessibility of objects, routes and communications, e-accessibility, accessibility, adaptation of the environment in the context of support measures and joint training, aids for the disabled, inclusive and universal design, adjustment of the environment and safety of people with disabilities."--
