Die Beiträge behandeln in ihrer Gesamtheit einen exemplarischen und zentralen Ausschnitt aus dem Spannungsfeld zwischen linguistischer Theorie und lexikographischer Praxis. Im Mittelpunkt der Erörterungen stehen einerseits die Ergebnisse der linguistischen - und speziell lexikologischen - Forschung, die es für die Sprachpraxis zu erschließen und fruchtbar zu machen gilt. Andererseits sollen auf Grund detaillierter Analysen von Typen der lexikographischen Datenerhebung und Datenpräsentation neue Standards für die Lexikographie herausgebildet werden. The articles revolve around a central aspect of the common ground where linguistic theory and lexicographic practice meet and where certain tensions become apparent. One major emphasis is on the results of linguistic - and more especially lexicological - research and the way these can be turned to account in lexicography and applied fields. The other main concern is detailed analysis of types of lexicographic data collection, capture and presentation with a view to elaborating new standards for lexicography.
