Pragerdeutsche und sudetendeutsche Literatur scheinen auf den ersten Blick nicht vergleichbar zu sein. Zur selben Zeit im selben Raum entstanden, sind sie aber bei aller stilistischen und weltanschaulichen Geschiedenheit durch Autoren wie Melchior Vischer oder Periodika wie Witiko verbunden. Ausgehend von dem von Deleuze und Guattari an Kafkas Werk entwickelten Konzept der kleinen oder minoritären Literatur entwirft Christian Jäger eine Methodologie zur Erschließung dieses Phänomens und analysiert eine Reihe von Werken bekannterer und unbekannterer Autoren und Autorinnen wie Ludwig Winder, Erwin G. Kolbenheyer, Hermann Ungar, Hans Watzlik, Hedwig Teichmann, Elisabeth Janstein u. a. So entsteht das Porträt einer vielfältigen, spannungsgeladenen Literaturlandschaft, in der sich jüdische Revolutionäre, sudetendeutsche Dadaisten und romantische Blut-und-Boden-Dichter begegnen.
