The immediate aims of the meeting are : (1) establishing an overview ofcurrent and future research topics in oral health follow-up studies ; (2)establishing an overview of the statistical methods currently employed inoral health follow-up studies and the need for new statistical developments ; (3) enhancing the communication between oral health researchers andstatisticians. A long-term aim of the meeting is establishing a network of oral health researchers and statisticians involved in oral health research.
