Jacques Liger-Belair, French-Belgian architect, chose to make his career in Lebanon. He was granted Lebanese citizenship in 1994. To date, he has put in 55 years of thinking,research and teaching, and realized numerous projects. He worked alone first, then with his partners of Atelier des Architectes Associés. This collective book tells the story of his eventful journey, putting together a biography, conversations, projects illustrated by his drawings, sketches and drafts, as well as a selection of his projects as well as those of the AAA agency.
