Freundschaft ist eine subjektiv hoch-relevante Beziehungsform, die jedoch auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise im individuellen Beziehungssystem verortet wird. Auf der Grundlage einer Interviewstudie mit Personen im Alter zwischen 50 und 80 Jahren hat Julia Hahmann Freundschaftsmuster älterer Personen analysiert. Die Darstellung erfolgt anhand einer Typologie und umfasst neben behavioralen, affektiven und kognitiven Aspekten der Freundschaftsgestaltung auch Angaben zur Einbindung in weitere starke und schwache Beziehungen. The volume stresses the relevance of the intersectionality framework in welfare state analysis by examining overlapping inequalities within the shifting institutional boundaries and organisational processes across diverse welfare settings.
