"The background of this book is the increase in students enrolled in ELE courses globally and the growing interest of the academy in studying the teaching and learning processes of this language. It is made up of three parts: Research, Praxis and Personal experiences in teaching ELE. The first part includes various approaches to the very nature of ELE, such as the changes that have occurred in the typification of the ELE teacher and an agenda that aims to contribute to the review of new theories of the learning process of a second language. The second explores various aspects related to the teaching-learning of ELE, from the technological contexts in the classroom, to the use of comic strips in textbooks. The last section presents the experiences of two Mexican ELE teachers at the Chongqing University of Science and Technology, China"--
