Les objectifs de cette recherche sont de former les animateurs LOGO à l'emploi d'instruments d'observation et à l'interprétation des données; étudier la faisabilité de leur utilisation ainsi que le processus décision des animateurs. Ce travail, mené auprès de 16 animateurs en milieux scolaire et extra-scolaire, est basé sur deux grilles mises au point par DENIS et SOLOT. Il s'avère que leur utilisation n'est pas aisée, pour les animateurs, au niveau du codage; mais elles permettent de gérer plus objectivement la situation éducative : l'interprétation des données les amène à prendre des décisions de régulation portant sur la dynamique des interactions.ed

Le 16 octobre 2020, trente-quatre professeurs de l’Université d’Ottawa publiaient une lettre ouverte défendant le principe de la liberté universitaire en appui à la professeure Verushka Lieutenant-Duval, accusée d’un supposé acte raciste dans le contexte d’un cours offert à la Faculté des arts. Ce geste a déclenché une saga qu’ils ne sont pas près d’oublier : campagne d’intimidation de la part des étudiants, confrontations avec des collègues et lourds démêlés avec l’administration. Des intellectuels de partout au Québec sont intervenus dans le débat, qui s’est déplacé dans l’arène politique. D’un événement à l’autre, l’Université d’Ottawa a été plongée en pleine tourmente, amplifiée par la disparité des perceptions et la force des émotions.Dans cet ouvrage, des membres du « groupe des 34 » relatent comment ils ont vécu et ressenti la crise, comment elle s’est imposée dans leur vie de professeurs. Plusieurs évoquent les effets qu’elle a eus sur leur façon d’exercer leur métier en s’interrogeant sur les pièges de l’autocensure et des multiples avertissements aux étudiants. D’autres réfléchissent aux conséquences de tels événements sur leur discipline et sur le développement et la transmission des connaissances. Certains, enfin, se penchent sur les dérives d’une université où la liberté d’enseignement est de plus en plus malmenée, soumise aux pressions du clientélisme et des divers militantismes.

Daughters of a black slaveholder father, Anne Hart Gilbert and Elizabeth Hart Thwaites were among the first educators of slaves and free African Caribbeans in late 18th and early 19th century Antigua. This is a collection of the writings of these members of the "free colored" community who married white men and played an active role in society.
